Diesel classes Empty Diesel classes

Too many the diesel locomotive was the symbol of the Modern Image. In the rush to modernise our railways there was a host of classes of new locomotives. Please use this section to discuss the various classes of locomotive by passing on information on the prototype and your modelling tips to improve the models available.
